New 830e-5
Conuma is a Canadian metallurgical coal miner with more than 950 employees, and its three mining operations are located in tabelle ridge and chetwain, northeastern British Columbia, Canada.
Through comprehensive engineering and financial analysis, conuma believes that the deployment of Komatsu 830e-5 in Wolverine can significantly improve the production of the mine, because Komatsu electric wheel is easy to maintain, has better stability and has higher overall availability.
Compared with the trucks used before here, 830e-5 has low noise and high fuel efficiency. John schadan, President of conuma, said that conuma believes that cooperation with Komatsu and SMS equipment is the right choice and can achieve its own goals. Their achievements prove the quality of their products and services.
The first 830e-5 arrived at the end of August last year, and the rest will be delivered in the next two months. The new truck will supplement the existing equipment of the mine, and the previous equipment will be supported by SMS equipment on site.
"SMS equipment is committed to working with conuma on a long-term basis to ensure full support to maximize the uptime and availability of its Komatsu fleet," said Dennis chmielewski, executive vice president, mining, SMS equipment
Daniel funcannon, vice president and general manager of Komatsu's Mining Department, said it was a great honor to provide trucks for wolverine, and they are very happy that Komatsu products can help the mine achieve its production goals with stable quality and reliability.
The 830e-5 engine is a 1865 kW Komatsu sda16v160 diesel engine with a load capacity of 227 tons. The transmission system of this model has high efficiency, low fuel consumption and excellent reliability.
